Biography
Maria Marin is considered one of
the leading motivational
trainers on the subject of
“Personal Empowerment” and “The
Art of Negotiation”. Her
captivating presentations and
compelling messages have earned
this international acclaimed
speaker many honors that
identify her as one of the most
powerful, charismatic and
persuasive voices for self-improvement
today.
Maria Marin host a national
weekly radio show entitled “Tu
Vida Es Mi Vida” (You Life is My
Life). She will inspire her
listeners with her signature no-nonsense
prescription for a happier and
more empowered life. Discussing
topics such as love, family,
work and self-esteem, Marin will
take calls from listeners and
deliver a wealth of enlightening
and motivational advice in
between music sets. “Tu Vida Es
Mi Vida” was inspired by Marin’s
nationally syndicated newspaper
column Mujer Sin Límite (Woman
Without Limits), her popular
self-help book “Secrets of a
Confident Woman” and her
interactions with audiences as

speaker.
Maria Marín is internationally
known as an expert in the “Art
of Negotiation”. Her wealth of
knowledge in this field has led
her to become the only Latina
that teaches negotiation
worldwide. She has trained
thousands of executives to
develop and improve their
negotiating skills in Fortune
500 companies throughout the
United States and major
corporations in Mexico, Spain,
Puerto Rico, Central and South

corporate world, Marín’s mission
is to instill women with the
self-confidence and the drive to

lives. She is the author of the
self-help book “Secrets of a
Confident Women” where she

newspaper columnist, who writes
on personal growth topics for
women. Her column “Mujer Sin
Límite” (Women Without Limits)
is published weekly in the top

Puerto Rico. She also appears
weekly in the TV program
“Despierta América” as the
motivational expert of the show.
Maria Marín is a source of
inspiration; her mother died of
cancer when she was only 8 years
old and her loneliness drove her
to find comfort in food. As a
young girl, she struggled with
being overweight and feeling
unattractive. At the age of 15,
she found out that a new battle
waited her when she became
diabetic and discovered that she
would have to depend on insulin
injections for the rest of her
life. “My adversities as a child
helped me recognize that no
matter what hardships come your
way, you can still fulfill your
dreams,” states Maria.
Maria Marin is the honorary
spokesperson for the American
Diabetes Association “Por Tu
Familia Latino Outreach” Program.

Power of Commitment & Self-Confidence”,
