Victoria Negrete, born in Mexico City, is the founder of The Cartel Group. Victoria is a top Latina Pioneer in the development of revolutionary, money making strategic solutions to some of the most complex marketing challenges in today's Emerging Markets. She has been recognized nationally for her business savvy and unrelenting drive in taking The Cartel Group from zero to $95 million in annual capitalized billings in ten years.

Victoria applies the same entrepreneurial drive in helping her clients exceed their business goals - even in tough times like now! In 2009, while many small businesses were closing their doors, Victoria took Impacto from 1 to 12 clients despite the economic turmoil the nation faced that year. She was honored in 2010 for being a pioneer of Hispanic marketing, and was one of the first women to be inducted into the AMA’s Godfathers of Hispanic Marketing Hall of Fame.

She has been recognized as an expert in Latino consumer sociology who has studied this market over 25 years and recognized with many awards including a GOLD EFFIE for Southwestern Bell and a SILVER EFFIE for BankOne. Victoria is also an influential Latina business – policy opinion-leader, including Commencement Speaker at the University of Colorado, Expert in “How to Become an Expert in Latino Strategic Thinking”, and 15 years as a keynote speaker on Latino business, marketing and advertising related issues at national seminars and conferences around the nation. “After 25 years of studying Latino consumers from all backgrounds and economic levels in the U.S. and Latin America, it’s important to use what I’ve learned to help those who want to effectively reach the new marketplace, which is dramatically changing the face of America’s marketplace.”

A cross-section of her strategic leadership experience spans many categories, including banking, retail, packaged goods, telecommunications, non-profit and automotive in the U.S. and Latin America. Victoria's Latino economic/financial communications experience spans more than 20 years including the development of the first Hispanic financial profile for Capital One, the launch of Pueblo Financial Corp., strategic planning for MBNA, Western Union. Victoria also led the award winning teams for Banco del Atlantico and Banca Serfin.

Victoria has received a number of prestigious awards and has been featured in national magazines including Advertising Age, AdWeek, Latina, and Hispanic magazine. In 2005, she was the recipient of the Hispanic Entrepreneur Award presented by Hispanic Business Magazine. In 2001, she was featured on Fox Cable News was named a Champion of Advertising for The Pat Summeral program “Stories of Success”. She is a founding member of the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies and served our country 6 years as a member of President Clinton’s advisory commission on Latin-American affairs.
