Ivette was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She moved with her family to the United States when she was only six years old. Her father served in the U.S. Navy, which caused for her family to move constantly to different parts of the U.S. From an early age, she was dealing with the effects of assimilation and acculturation, even before the terms became trendy. She became accustomed to adjusting and embracing CHANGE. Gaining an understanding of differences in others, new situations and readapting became her norm. These experiences would set her on course for the years ahead. Ivette gains real satisfaction in knowing that she can help that C-suite Executive, a business organization, or an aspiring entrepreneur in moving closer to the CHANGE they need to GROW.
Ivette’s diverse entrepreneurial soul is grounded in teaching and serving others. Her entrepreneurial journey and corporate career has provided her with unique learning experiences and skills. She has worked in human resources, banking, and customer service. In addition, she worked in sales and managed multimillion dollar revenue goals, brand placement, products and services. As a corporate trainer, she had access to C-Suite executives to global frontline teams. She has created her our customized training, in addition to obtaining training certification from multiple prominent training companies.
Ivette’s is a promoter of women pursuing their DREAMS. Keeping them inspired and empowered on their quest towards success. Ivette recently released her audiobook “A 30 Day Guide to Your POWER” on GOW Media, inspiring powerful outcomes through powerful words.
In 2008, Ivette gave way to her creativity and launched a line of Bilingual note cards, Yo Soy Expressions. Each card is uniquely designed by her celebrating culture, language and traditions. She was successful in getting Yo Soy Expressions onto the shelves of Walgreens throughout Houston. Ivette also created exclusive designs for Target Stores during the 2013-2014 Christmas Holiday Season. Her story has been featured in Nely Galan’s bestselling book “SELF-MADE. Ivette is married to the love of her life, Michael. She has two wonderful daughters and is grandmother to Lola Nicole.
