Dana Rebecca Designs Nicholas (“Nick”) Delgado is a growth enthusiast, truth instigator and passionate promoter of people. He’s invested millions of dollars on behalf of wealthy families, was a go-to capital and transaction advisor for founder and family-run businesses and championed numerous civic causes, including aging and economic development. Today, Nick is President of Dana Rebecca Designs (“DRD”), a consumer brand in fine jewelry. At DRD, he partners with a Rockstar team of 18 women to elevate the brand through its wholesale and retail divisions and promote a message of female empowerment. Nick’s unique brand of finance inspired strategy has led numerous companies to outsized success. During the 2008 financial collapse, Nick ranked in the top decile of Merrill Lynch high net worth investment advisors. The economic crisis inspired Nick to launch Dignitas, a multi-family office and investment banking platform for founder and family-run enterprises. The business flourished under Nick’s thought leadership, earning recognition including the IL Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Member of the Year and Nick being recognized by Investment News as one of 40 high performing finance professionals across the country under the age of 40. In 2017, Nick sold Dignitas and joined longtime client and fine jewelry designer, Dana Gordon, to help scale Dana Rebecca Designs. Nick is just as passionate about strengthening his community as he is about business. His civic leadership highlights include: · serving as Chairman of the Board for Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly where he championed a venture fund for new initiatives for elders living in social isolation and; · sitting on the board of trustees for Adler University while serving as Chairman of the Finance Committee. Today, Nick is a Commissioner for the City of Chicago’s Community Development Commission and an active fellow of Leadership Greater Chicago. Nick loves running events. He will complete his 10th marathon this weekend in Chicago. He’s also the way too serious member of the improv group, Velvet Stallion. Nick lives in Chicago, Illinois and his happy place is San Sebastian, Spain.
